How Panchakarma helps cure diseases
Each panchakarma performs a unique action like,

- Those who have specific health concerns
- Imbalances of dosha-related issues
In addition to health considerations, factors such as:

also play a role in determining its suitability.
How much time does Panchakarma treatment take?
Panchakarma is a five-cleansing procedure that is Vamana, Virechana, Basti, and Nasyam. The duration of the treatment is determined according to Several factors, such as the individual’s health condition, age, and overall well-being. Some people need less treatment time to get the results they want, while others might need more time to get better results.
A regular panchakarma treatment usually lasts about two-three weeks. During this period, you undergo various therapies, cleansing and rejuvenation therapies that are designed to remove toxins from your body, bring balance to Tridosha, and promote your overall health and well-being.
Before the treatment starts, there’s a preparation phase. You follow a special diet and lifestyle plan to get your body ready for the upcoming cleansing therapies. This preparation time can last for a few days or even a few weeks, depending on your health condition.
In summary, the duration of panchakarma treatment varies from person to person so consult an Ayurvedic physician before undergoing panchakarma treatment it may help to design a personalized treatment plan for getting better results.
What happens to your body after Panchakarma?
Panchakarma is a process that makes your body healthier and helps it heal itself. After the five cleansing steps(Vamana, Virechana, 2 types of Basti, and Nasya), your body’s balance gets back to normal, and you feel healthier in both body and mind. Panchakarma cleans your whole body, and during the treatment, you might notice mental and emotional changes, sometimes even in the first phases.
A “healing crisis” is when your body gets rid of toxins through the cleansing process. This can lead to symptoms like trouble sleeping, feeling feverish, tiredness, discomfort, and body aches. To some extent, this is necessary and shows that your body is cleaning itself.
So, after Panchakarma, when the imbalances are fixed and your digestion is back on track, your body and mind feel healthy, calm, fresh, and free from disease.
